Sacred places are are sanctuaries of long-held listening.. Throughout history people have come to these sites to pray, celebrate, grieve, give thanks and honour the gods. The land absorbs these intentions as a deep memory, holding these thoughts not as words but as a frequency that imbues the site with wisdom- a wisdom that can be seen and felt- stones worn smooth by touch, paths carved by ritual intention and symbols etched in stone.
The wisdom held in sacred spaces is not instruction; it's the quiet knowing that emerges when human presence meets something older and larger than itself.
When you travel to a sacred site with a curious and open heart, you are not going to learn something new so much as remember something old. The site is a mirror-reflecting back to us something once known but long forgotten.
In slowing down, listening and immersing yourself in the stillness of presence, you may receive insights that do not originate there but are awakened there. That is, when you align your heart with the proper intention to sacred landscapes, there is something to be remembered; an access to inner knowing, and a rekindling of the soul’s memory as the boundary between inner landscape and outer landscape softens.
It is possible then, to know yourself in place. To remember who you are.
Come journey with me to sacred spaces, where story, stone and stars are woven together. As your guide, I will introduce you to the people that once gathered there, the archeology that reveals how well they understood their connection to the world, and the palpable wisdom that endures.
Together we will explore how temples, villages and stones were aligned not only to the land but to the stars- and how the ancient ones who came before us understood themselves as participants in a galactic story connected to celestial cycles embodied by both earth and sky. We will trace recurring symbols in the form of petroglyphs etched upon canyon walls- symbols carved by ancient hands- spirals, geometric designs and anthropomorphic beings that blur the line between human and other worldly expressions.
As we journey with sacred intention and open hearts, these landscapes become bridges across time. By walking in deep listening, we allow the ancient voices to enter the present, voices that reminds us that our human history has always been entwined with the stars.
This is an invitation to journey into sacred spaces and places and listen with your whole being- so that you may recognise your own story in the story of those who came before you- and to reclaim the knowing and the light that you are.
